At Valley Smithy Farms, we're proud to use sustainable farming practices to ensure that our soil and livestock are healthy and free from harmful chemicals. Our farm is also home to a variety of animals, including cows, pigs, horses and chickens.

As a Valley Smithy Farms Family VIP you can expect to receive updates on the crazy adventures of Max & Cash our White Dexter bulls and their farm friends. Farm Family VIPs can also expect to receive updates from the Valley Smithey blacksmith shop about new designs and discounts before anyone else.
At Valley Smithy Farms, we believe in sustainable farming practices that prioritize the health of our soil and the well-being of our animals. We work hard to produce high-quality breeding stock, our farm has been owned and operated for over 70 years, and we are dedicated to continuing this legacy for generations to come.
The White Dexter breed is a full upgrade of the original Dexter breed, making a completely new breed with the same characteristics of the Dexter cattle in a bright, new color.
The Idaho Pasture Pig (IPP) are a newer breed of pigs. We feel they are the perfect pig for any homestead. The IPP is a cross of the Duroc, Old Berkshire, and the Kune kune pig. These are true “grazing” pigs and are very gentle in nature.
We routinely receive requests to come for a few hours or days to follow us around. The requests normally end with I’m happy to help you work. Please, no offense, but no, you can’t.
This is a working farm and blacksmith shop. When answering questions and trying to keep folks from being in the wrong place at the wrong time. This makes us forget tools to close gates, and this does cost us valuable time in efficiently going about our daily work.
This is our animals’ home, they do not like anyone they don’t know entering their home. (somedays they don’t like us in there with them) keeping them feeling safe and secure is the MOST important thing to us.
At this time, we offer select live steam events you can ask questions and we will spend time showing you around the farm and blacksmith shop. Please do not ask to come and follow us around. It just doesn’t work. We love teaching people about what we do AND encouraging you to do it too! We just are not able to allow any visitors to the farm at this time.
Have questions about our farm or want to place an order? Contact us today and we'll be happy to help. You can reach us by email, or by filling out the form on our website. We look forward to hearing from you!
